What is the Montgomery IT Summit?
Montgomery IT Summit is an annual event jointly hosted by the Montgomery Chapter of the Armed Forces Communications and Electronics Association (AFCEA) in collaboration with the US Air Force units at Maxwell Air Force Base - Gunter Annex in Montgomery, AL.
The event begins on Monday with the annual Tom Brantley Charity Golf Tournament, with proceeds benefiting the Montgomery AFCEA Chapter Educational Foundation. Since its inception, the Educational Foundation has invested over $3 million dollars in scholarships and other benefits for Montgomery area students, helping to transform Montgomery into one of the fastest growing centers of technical excellence in the Southern United States.
On Tuesday, the two day conference portion of Montgomery IT Summit begins. This year's theme is "Who Moved the IT Cheese?", focusing on the many changes that are occurring within the Department of Defense and the US Air Force in particular. As always, our outstanding speakers and panel members will also focus on future growth areas and newly developing business opportunities for Industry participants.
